Climbing Your Own Personal Mt. Everest
A.J. Heightman, MPA, EMT-P
We all want to be the best we can be in this life: best EMS provider, best manager, best friend, best spouse, best parent. But most of us are kept from reaching our full potential by personal challenges. You can’t run that marathon you’ve always wanted to … until you lose 50 pounds. You can’t walk around the zoo with your daughter because of your asthma … which you know would get better if you stopped smoking. You know you’d make a great manager … if only you had that advanced degree after your name. In reality, you are the only one who can overcome these challenges and climb your own personal Mt. Everest, the one that exists in your mind. JEMS Editor-in-Chief A.J. Heightman will take a look at some of these challenges, share his own challenges and relate how he’s been able to make the climb of his own Mt. Everest. This will be a very motivating keynote and the perfect way to start the first day of EMS Today.
