The Prehospital Care Research Forum (PCRF) is an international organization dedicated to increasing the volume & quality of research in EMS . Among the activities that highlight the Prehospital Care Research Forum is the bi-annual Call for Abstracts. Abstracts are received from EMS providers, clinicians, educators, administrators, and students from all over the world. The Call for Abstracts is a great way for authors to showcase and present their research study as an abstract presentation at either the EMS Today Conference and Exposition or the National Association of EMS Educators Symposium and Trade Show. Authors of the studies representing the most original & scientifically based work will be selected to present their research findings at the conferences.
In addition to having the opportunity to present at a conference, the primary author will also receive:
- An abstract critique along with a point system comparison with other submissions
- Ability to showcase and present their research abstract as a poster presentation, oral presentation or both
- Complimentary registration (valued over $300)
- An opportunity to compete for "Best Research" or "Best Oral Presentation"
- Abstract publication in a respectable EMS journal
